It is the most easy subject as it can be done from a single source. One can cover the following from Garg, Bansal and Ghosh (2nd Edition):
Chapter 1 (all topics)
Chapter 2 (topics 2.2, 2.3, 2.4)
Chapter 3 (topics 3.4)
Chapter 4 (topic 4.6)
Chapter 5 (all topics, but more focus on 5.4 and 5.5)
Chapter 6 (up to topic 6.8)
Chapter 7 (all topics)
Chapter 8 (all topics) (a good number of PYQs have been asked)
Chapter 10 (topic 10.3 10.4, 10.5, 10.9)
Chapter 11 (all topics; although it is in the electromagnetic part, but you need to learn it here) (a good number of PYQs from this topic alone)
Chapters 12 to 15, but not all topics. You need to balance it out with the PYQs. This chapter is important as it can be done concisely. (The most important section as many PYQs have been asked)
This is the broader list, from the best of my experience, and it is assumed that it will help to cover a minimum of 95% syllabus alone from these topics. Many direct questions have been asked in the past.
